Preparing For Your Featured Talk

Here’s the Agenda

We can’t wait for your talk, and to learn more about how your story and expertise can impact people. Our goal is to make sure your message is communicated in a meaningful way, so here is a quick run down of how things will go.

1. Prior to Meeting

Sign On 10 Min Early!

This is super important because it allows us to do an audio/video check, and go over additional details for the talk. This is also when we’ll go over anything specific you want to communicate, so we are sure to allot the appropriate time.

2. Starting the Event

Your moderator will initially welcome any participants that may be attending. They will introduce you and transition into conversation around your topic area. They will then ask you to take a few minutes to share a little about yourself, which will be your dedicated time to communicate whatever you like.

  • You can introduce us to your brand or how you got started.
  • If you want to mention your social media, website, podcast, etc do it here.
Thoughts To Consider About Your Topic or Area of Expertise
  • What are you doing currently, and how did you get to where you are?
  • What does your topic or area of expertise mean to you, how can it impact people?
  • How can people use the topic in their every day life, career, etc?
  • Are there specific, measurable, steps people can take in applying or thinking about this topic?
  • If you could only leave people with one idea to think about what would it be?
  • What else would you like to share?
Tips & Tricks
  • Personal stories can be a great way to grab attention, people love stories.

4. Participant Q&A

The remainder of the event will be a conversation/discussion. In many cases there will be live participants who will want to ask questions and discuss the topic. In either case the moderator will have some follow up questions for you to discuss for the remainder of the event.

5. Wrap Up

After about an hour we’ll start wrapping up. This will also be an additional opportunity to let people know how they can engage with you afterwards if you like. We’ll thank everyone for joining and end the discussion.
